Problem Statement

A team project where we were given two sub genres in platformer games and we had to pitch each of them and then develop the one that was selected. Our team was offered "Single Screen" with a multi-player constraint and "Run n Gun", we eventually got selected for Run 'n' Gun.

What is the game?

AntiPixel is a 2D Run 'n' Gun platformer. It defies the convention of tight controls by introducing physics-based platforming that offers unrestricted movement. The game features five levels with varied enemy types and two challenging boss fights.

The game's UI design is a milestone the team would like to take pride in as this is one of the few Run 'n' Gun games that offers diegetic and spatial UI as opposed to complicated and unnecessary HUD's that make the game's interfaces user-friendly.

Apart from being the longest project I've ever worked on in my first year, this was also my first major project on the Unity engine.

Note that this project is a part of my first year's final jury at Rubika Supinfogame.
