Problem Statement
A game about managing a cult, the intention was to make something similar to an idle game with management mechanics.
What is the game?
Demons for Dummies is a game about running a cult that indulges into demonic activities. The players must hire cultists, sacrifice them, build altars and summon powerful demons by solving puzzles.
The game had a lot of system design work and we created a robust architecture to maintain the enormous data in the game. One of the merits of this game was also that we gathered the analytical data from the game by creating an in-house data collection tool. This allowed us to collect data from our testers efficiently.
The game's puzzles were procedurally generated and allowed us to have and endless game experience.
Note that this project is a part of my third year's final semester jury at Rubika Supinfogame.
