Problem Statement

Making a brick-breaker clone that is specifically targeting the gym-going audiences and creating a marketing strategy around that. The game was then to be pitched to a group of investors with a production budget and road-map for generating revenue on the same.

What is the game?

Lie Down is a casual game that aims to reduce muscular pain and tiredness after any strenuous workout or gym sessions. We chose to create something casual, Lie Down allows players to get a feel of their numb fingertips after a workout.

This project was more heavily focused on generating an audience base and hyping them for the game. We took several play-tests after gym sessions and even sent over the game to well-known body-builders of the city of Pune.  Adding to this was our constant push on social media platforms with wide coverage including a dedicated website that offered updates. We managed to market the game well for the final jury for this game.

We even got attention of a celebrity physical trainer that gave their thoughts on this game.

Note that this project is a part of my first year's post mid-term jury at Rubika Supinfogame.
