Problem Statement

A mega-team project where 41 students had to create two micro games each and compile them in to a mashup of micro-games like the popular Warioware by Nintendo. We had an internal student based production and management team as well with several students volunteering to take up additional responsibility.

What is the game?

No Play No Gain is a mashup of numerous micro-games made on a diverse set of themes and controls.

Apart from working as a designer and developer on micro-games I volunteered as a tech support to help other students in development. I had even volunteered to produce a few soundtracks for the title, however due to time limitations, these could not be added in the game. In any case it has helped me learn a lot about composing music for video games.

We were heavily inspired by mashup games like the WarioWare and Dumb Ways to Die.

Note that this project is a part of my third year's first semester jury at Rubika Supinfogame.
